Centurion announces 2010 dates

October 23, 2009

Merrick, N.Y.--The 2010 Centurion show, a by-invitation-only event that showcases 100-plus prestige jewelry designers and manufacturers, will be held from Jan. 30-Feb. 3 in Tucson.

According to show organizers, attendees use the Centurion show for spring and summer season buying, as well as to analyze annual buying, business and merchandising plans with their key vendors.

"We see retailers getting a jump on the year at Centurion," Centurion President Howard Hauben said in a media release. "Retailers who plan save both time and money. Plus, it's a very comfortable atmosphere in which to conduct business."

Highlights of the upcoming 2010 show include:
  • A full educational schedule, including Retailer Roundtables, which cover a variety of topics pertaining to a prestige jewelry retailer's business.
  • Various leisure activities, including a new group softball event.
  • A new Special Collection Floor Orientation Party on Saturday, Jan. 30.
  • The six winners of Centurion's Emerging Designers Competition will exhibit for the first time at a U.S. jewelry show at Centurion.
  • A new Retailer Community Showcase, featuring retailers who are active in their communities via charities and other programs.
  • Great entertainment and an amazing menu for the entire show.
In addition, as with every year of the show, only a handful of top jewelry designers and manufacturers from Centurion's waiting list are invited to showcase their collections at the show. New exhibitors for the 2010 show include: Alpina, Baccarat, Beverley K, Carelle, Eclat Jewels, Fai Dee, Frederique Constant, Furrer-Jacot, JudeFrances, Kazanjian Bros., Makur, Monica Rich, Ramon, Rhonda Faber Green, Ron Hami and Uneek.
