AGS announces 2010 Conclave dates

Las Vegas--The American Gem Society (AGS) 2010 Conclave will be held from April 21-24 at the Westin Copley Place in Boston.

The theme will be "Revolution," with the keynote and educational programs focused on bold new ways of doing business.

"We're in a period of great economic change, and that change demands revolutionary new ways of doing business," AGS Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer Ruth Batson said in a media release. "There are more tools at our disposal, and more outlets for communicating and building a brand. The old rules are giving way to new ones. Conclave is seizing the opportunity to make sure that our members are a vital part of this revolution."

The conference will feature leading keynote speakers, classes on best practices, hands-on workshops, multiple networking opportunities and the The Robert M. Shipley Award Luncheon.

In addition, the conference will feature a two-day Supplier Gallery that allows AGS suppliers to display their gems and jewelry in an elegant, secure setting. The Supplier Gallery will also include the AGS' Fashion Show, which will feature models presenting top designs from the suppliers.
