JA New York to launch Supplier Pavilion

June 16, 2009

New York--JA New York has announced the launch of a new Supplier Pavilion that will make its debut at the 2010 JA New York Winter Show.

The pavilion will feature key suppliers offering the latest in tools, machinery, supplies and services. In addition to providing a one-stop-shop experience covering everything from components to finished product, the pavilion will also offer valuable educational sessions on the latest and most innovative services, supplies and technology.

The JA New York Winter Show will take place from Feb. 28-March 2 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in Manhattan, with more than 8,000 retailers expected to attend.

"We know that whether an attendee is flying in from California or driving in from New Jersey or Pennsylvania, their show experience has to justify not only the travel expense, but their time--which these days is being stretched thinner than ever," Group Show Director Drew Lawsky said in a media release. "For many attendees, JA New York Winter is the only jewelry show they will be visiting during the first quarter of 2010. It's critical that they come away with not only the right merchandise to fill their display cases, but also the right solutions for running their businesses. They might be in the market for diamond jewelry, but they might also be shopping for their first laser engraving machine or CAD system."

Bruce Coltin, director of the Supplier Pavilion, will develop and coordinate all aspects of the new pavilion. Plans are already in the works to develop a free interactive educational program focused on manufacturing and technology that will take place on the exhibit floor.

For questions about exhibiting, contact Coltin at (617) 458-9369 or bcoltin@comcast.net.
