MPI Systems launches store management software March 25, 2008
Wilton, Conn.—MPI Systems, the award-winning Microsoft Certified Partner that develops software systems for the jewelry industry, has released a state-of-the-art software for jewelry retail and wholesale management.
The new, trademarked "Gemini Retail" software is built on the latest Microsoft SQL Server technology for maximum security and stability, and incorporates all store management functionality, including a jewelry optimized product database, complete inventory control, easy-to-use point of sale with integrated credit card feature, repair and special-order creation for job bags and tracking, customer management, appraisals, advanced reporting, gift cards and registry, advanced imaging and barcoding.
The software can scale from a single location to hundreds of stores, and it integrates with accounting programs such as Quick Books and Great Plains, the company said in a media release.
"We felt it was time to raise the bar and bring the jewelry industry an innovative software system developed with modern technology, especially important in multi-store environments," MPI Systems President Rick Kaye said in the release.
