INSTORE to launch trade show in 2009 March 25, 2008
New York—INSTORE magazine has announced the launch of The INSTORE Show, to be held from April 19-21, 2009, at Chicago's Navy Pier.
The three-day event is expected to have approximately 400 booths and offer educational opportunities aimed at addressing the essential purchasing, marketing and management questions independent jewelers face.
In addition, The INSTORE Show will offer peer-to-peer networking programs and on-floor "attractions," including a planned working replica of a jewelry store to show jewelers how to organize their own stores and display cases for maximum sales.
Jim Reed, who has more than 25 years of trade show experience, will be directing the show. He was a top manager for JCK's Las Vegas and Orlando events from 1992 to 1998, and organized Professional Jeweler's trade events from 1998 to 2001.
