eDiamondselect partners with Avalon Solution
July 24, 2008
Hollywood, Fla.—Software solutions provider eDiamondselect has partnered with the new Web services provider Avalon Solution, allowing eDiamondselect's customers special access to Avalon's Web-building program. In return, Avalon will promote eDiamondselect's program and extensive loose-diamond inventory to its own retail customers. "Our new partnership with Avalon Solution gives eDiamondselect an even bigger playing field," eDiamondSelect Vice President of Sales and Marketing David Norman said in a media release. "Avalon Solution will offer our program as an add-on with every Web site they build and sell to independent jewelers, and eDiamondselect will offer their Web-building program to all of our current and potential customers. With eDiamondselect's WebEmbed program, it's a perfect match." For Avalon Solution, a new Web service created by global diamond jewelry manufacturer Ashi Diamonds, the benefits are mutual. "Partnering with eDiamondselect gives Avalon Solution's customers—independent retail jewelers—access to a large online database of loose diamonds from their choice of leading diamond companies along with the ability to define their markups," Ashi Diamonds and Avalon Solution Partner Rajeev Pandya said in the release. "Avalon Solution has the ability to integrate eDiamondselect's diamond inventory into our customers' e-commerce Web sites, providing their consumers with a one-stop place to shop for jewelry and loose diamonds." Web site demos for Avalon Solution will be held at three upcoming trade shows this summer. The first demo will take place at the JA New York Show beginning this Sunday, July 27 and running through July 30 (Booth 2835-2837); the second will take place at the RJO Show to be held July 26-28 in Minneapolis (Booth 424); and the third at the Columbus Jewelry Show in Columbus, Ohio, from Aug. 23-24 (Booth 832).
