IADC: New York Viewing Show a success

Weston, Fla.—The Indo Argyle Diamond Council (IADC) has announced that its 14th annual Exclusive Viewing Show (EVS) went off without a hitch.

According to a release from the company, the show brought together a diversified group of retailers from across the United States to individually view the collections of prime Indian jewelry manufacturers.

This allowed for retailers to have an "intimate and personalized experience" without the hassles of a large jewelry convention or trade show.

The show was held recently in New York City and recognized the increasingly important role India plays in today's diamond and jewelry industries.

"Many retailers have requested help with introductions to the best Indian diamond jewelry manufacturers as well as help with qualifying which manufacturers are best for their needs; they come to us for this information," IADC President Keith Dillmeier said in a media release.

Kim Adams, vice president of merchandising at Reeds Jewelers, said the show was a positive experience overall.

"I think we made some good contacts and we reinforced our relationship with existing contacts," she said.

The IADC is a 14-year-old, North American-based association for Indian diamond jewelry manufacturers. It is a division of Paso Robles, Calif.-based MVI Marketing Ltd.
