Rosy Blue Israel announces operational changes

Ramat Gan, Israel—Dilip Shah, co-managing director of Rosy Blue Israel, will leave his post at the end of September to pursue other opportunities in the diamond industry, the company has announced.

Second-generation family member Vishal Mehta, who is currently running Rosy Blue South Africa, will lead the Israel operation with Amish Mehta, Shah's co-managing director.

A new management team already well established with Rosy Blue Israel and Moscow will back the Mehtas. The team includes Asaf Magazanic, Anish Parikh, Steve Putterman and Aditya Shah.

Vishal Mehta will continue to run Rosy Blue's South African operations, with both he and Amish Mehta spending part of their time in Israel.

The company said in a media release that its intention is to re-position Rosy Blue Israel as the distribution hub for fancy-shaped polished diamonds, which will include both Russian and South African polished goods.
