Retailers: IADC Exclusive Viewing Show benefits business

Paso Robles, Calif.—Attendance at the 13th annual Indo Argyle Diamond Council (IADC) Exclusive Viewing Show in New York City doubled this year, the organization announced.

The IADC arranged for dozens of retailers to individually view collections from top Indian manufacturers. The format was designed to provide a personalized experience without the hassles associated with large conventions and trade shows.

Retailers from across the United States attended the show and reported that it was useful and productive for their business. Attendees such as Connie Ton, a senior buyer for Daniel's Jewelers, and Julie Pyne, vice president of merchandising for Dunkin's Diamonds, said the show was well-organized and beneficial.

The IADC will also sponsor a new IADC Pavilion at the JCK Show in Las Vegas this year (booth 5090) and is offering retailers buying trips to India in July and September.

"Many mid-level and independent retailers had requested our help in organizing a trip to India so they may also buy from the best Indian manufacturers at the same great pricing offered to major retailers," IADC President Keith Dillmeier said in a statement. Membership fees cover the IADC's management costs, so the organization does not charge a fee to retailers.

The IADC is the largest Indian diamond-jewelry manufacturers' association in North America and a division of MVI Marketing Ltd. For more information, contact Keith Dillmeier, president of IADC, at (800) 797-4232 ext. 110, or via e-mail at kdillmeier@mvimarketing.com.
