GIA Lab offers Holiday Express Service

Carlsbad, Calif.--The Gemological Institute of America (GIA) has announced that the GIA Laboratory will again offer its Holiday Express Service during the holiday season, from Dec. 1-19.

Holiday Express Service makes it possible for a customer to get lab results within three days, excluding shipping time. The service will quote a turnaround time to customers on a case-by-case basis, depending on the day's volume.

To utilize this service, customers must contact the GIA Laboratory prior to sending in their stones and indicate a request for expedited service.

"Due to the busy holiday season, we want to ensure our clients are given the option for accelerated service," GIA Laboratory and Research Senior Vice President Tom Moses said in a media release. "Our laboratory works especially diligently during this time to continue to provide excellent customer service."
