GemEx redesigns cert to focus on diamond beauty

May 14, 2009

New York--GemEx Systems Inc. has announced the launch of its recently redesigned GemEx Certificate, which has been re-tooled to emphasize a diamond's beauty.

According to a release issued by GemEx, the new certificate is now available worldwide and has been simplified with a modern look to highlight diamond brilliance, fire and sparkle, as measured by the patented BrillianceScope Analyzer.

With this easier-to-understand focus on a diamond's beauty, the certificate is intended to help retail jewelers increase diamond sales and margins, according to the release.

The new certificate also will include light-performance measurement images of diamonds and comparative scales, two features of the old certificates.

"As a leader in the industry, we are always looking for new ways to meet the business needs of our retail partners," GemEx Chief Executive Officer Randall Wagner said in a media release. "Consumers want diamonds that are beautiful to look at. Our new certificate, and other point-of-purchase tools, eases the sales process by giving retailers the ability to demonstrate to consumers how their diamond will dazzle in any environment. By increasing customer confidence and trust, the GemEx Certificate helps drive sales and increase margins on every diamond sold."

The new GemEx Certificate is part of a new, larger marketing initiative designed by the company to emphasize diamond brilliance, fire and sparkle, so that consumers focus on the beauty of diamonds rather than their rarity.

In addition to the new certificate, GemEx anticipates launching a new Web site at the end of the month, according to the release.
