Rapaport to hold $4 million diamond tender

New York—Rapaport New York will hold a $4 million polished-diamond tender next month that will include more than 870 GIA- and EGL USA-graded stones.

The lots include medium-quality round and well-made fancy-shape diamonds. The tender will also include 101 lots of promotional- and commercial-quality diamonds.

"This tender is perfect for wholesalers and retailers who wish to purchase commercial diamonds at great prices just before the important holiday season," said Rapaport Group Chairman Martin Rapaport in a statement. "It includes a wide range of well-made fancy shapes that offer above-average brilliance."

Viewing of the diamonds will be held in New York City beginning on Monday, Nov. 6, and ending on Friday, Nov. 10, at 2 p.m. Participation will be limited to approved bidders, and all bids are sealed and confidential.
