'Unbreakable Kiss' supports AIDS research

New York--In recognition of World AIDS Day, A Diamond Is Forever has sponsored the "Unbreakable Kiss Mistletoe Installation" in New York City's Madison Square Park.

The Unbreakable Kiss Installation features a sculptural arrangement of mistletoe under which loved ones can kiss. The kiss is then recorded by 60 cameras to create a moving video image of the moment frozen forever in time.

For every couple who kisses under the mistletoe, the Diamond Information Center will make a donation of $5 to the Elton John AIDS Foundation (EJAF) in honor of World AIDS Day.

The Unbreakable Kiss Installation will be open to the public from Dec. 1-4, from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Actress Penelope Cruz, in support of the EJAF, hosted the official opening of the Unbreakable Kiss Installation.

Joining Cruz to show their support for the EJAF and for World AIDS Day throughout the week will be celebrities Judith Light, Katrina Bowden, David Alan Basche, Sherri Suam, Simon Doonan and Jonathan Adler.

In a written statement, EJAF Founder and Chairman Sir Elton John thanked Cruz for her participation:
