Conference to focus on China's diamond industry

Shanghai, China—Members of the global diamond community will meet at the 2007 China International Diamond Conference, scheduled in Shanghai from Nov. 28-29, to discuss the development of China's diamond industry.

The conference, jointly organized by China's Ministry of Commerce and the Shanghai Municipal Government in conjunction with the Diamond Administration of China and the Antwerp World Diamond Centre, will focus on new policies, opportunities and challenges for China's diamond industry.

Session topics will include: The new policy of China's diamond industry, world diamond centers, development opportunities for diamond companies in China, development opportunities for the diamond-service sector in China and rough resources in China's diamond industry.
