Paz IDE president for second term

Ramat Gan, Israel—The Israel Diamond Exchange (IDE) elected Avi Paz as president for a second term during its 58th Annual General Meeting. He was the sole candidate for the position.

Paz promised to continue the momentum he began for the bourse during his first term, in which he said the industry attracted many new foreign companies and significantly increased the amount of rough diamonds brought to Israel. In addition, Paz said he would continue to promote and maintain the Israeli diamond industry's status as a world leader.

IDE members also elected a new board of directors, including: Ben Zion Shasho, Eli Shiri, Estie Wertheimer, Hagai Halevi, Ilan Samuel, Ishai Topel, Itzhak Cohen, Jacob (Cobi) Korn, Moti Fluk, Moti Ganz, Nissan Chen, Rafi Yerushalmi, Yair Sahar, Yehezkel Blum, Yehuda Sayag and Yosef Siani.
