CDE to raffle $1,000 gift at JA New York Show

New York—The Certified Diamond Exchange (CDE), an online, business-to-business marketplace for loose diamonds, will present one lucky retailer at this Sunday's JA New York Winter Show with a $1,000 credit to purchase a loose diamond listed on the CDE.

Retailers can enter the drawing by visiting the CDE booth at the show.

Though there can only be one grand-prize winner, each retailer who visits the CDE's booth, registers for free on the CDE and enters the drawing will receive a $100 gift certificate to purchase a loose diamond on the exchange.

Even retailers who are unable attend the JA New York Winter Show can take advantage of the CDE's offerings. Retailers can register for free CDE membership at the CDE's Web site, CDEdiamonds.com, and all new members will receive a $100 gift card. In addition, the exchange hosts an online, monthly drawing for a $1,000 gift card.

"Six of our members have already received $1,000 gift cards and over 900 members have each received a $100 gift card," GCAL President Don Palmieri said in a statement. "This is a great way to get access to guaranteed graded diamonds and save on a loose-diamond purchase."

The CDE is holding the drawing to celebrate its naming as the Official Diamond Exchange of the Winter and Summer JA New York Shows.

The drawing will be held at 2 p.m. on the opening day of the show, Sunday, March 9. The CDE booth will be located near the main entrance to the show, and is in the same location as the GCAL booth, 3B.

The CDE offers free membership to both buyers and sellers of loose diamonds, all of which carry a Gem Certification and Assurance Lab (GCAL) Guaranteed Diamond Grading Certificate.
