Gemory LLC's revolutionary process of placing microscopic pictures on diamonds is now available to consumers.

Newark, Calif.--Consumers who want to enshrine their loved ones on a piece of jewelry now will have more options than just a locket.

Gemory LLC announced recently that its revolutionary nano-photograph process for diamonds is now available to consumers through its Web site, Gemory.com, and at jewelry stores, wedding planners and luxury gift sellers, according to a release from the company.

Developed one year ago, the process, called DiamondPure, permanently embeds high-resolution grayscale photographs on any size diamond.

Although invisible to the naked eye, the photographs are viewable using GemmaView, Gemory's proprietary, portable viewing device.

According to the release, to guarantee that the photograph does not interfere with the diamond's brilliance and beauty, Gemory has enlisted the services of EGL USA.

"EGL USA provides an independent analysis of each diamond for authenticity and ensures the diamond's brilliance using ImaGem's Light Behavior Technology before and after the nano-photographic process," said Mitch Jakubovic, director of EGL USA's New York office. "Customers will also receive an EGL USA report to confirm that their diamond has maintained its original characteristics."

Gemory, the release states, invites jewelry businesses, wedding planners and luxury gift sellers to offer the nano-photograph service through a free, revenue-sharing dealership program.

According to the release, photographically enhanced diamonds are a great way for consumers to mark special events in their life, such as birthdays, anniversaries and the birth of a new baby.

Fifth-generation jeweler Jay A. Mednikow, of J.H. Mednikow and Co. Inc. in Atlanta and Memphis, Tenn., said, "Gemory's service allows us to offer a new and exciting way for buyers and existing owners to personalize and take pride in their diamonds by having their favorite photograph applied."
