Reports: Arrests made in Hollywood jewelry heists

Los Angeles-Police in Los Angeles have arrested four young women and two men on suspicion of breaking into Hollywood Hills homes and stealing high-end designer clothing and jewelry from celebrities including Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan, the Associated Press (AP) has reported.

The series of burglaries took place from October 2008 until September, with police reporting that the teens used the Internet to track the movements of the stars and develop wish lists of clothes and jewelry before raiding the homes while the celebrities were away.

In addition to Hilton and Lohan, other reported victims included Audrina Patridge of MTV's The Hills, as well as actors Ashley Tisdale, Brian Austin Green, Megan Fox, Orlando Bloom and Rachel Bilson, according to the AP.

The suspects include three 18-year-old women, one 19-year-old woman and two men, ages 18 and 27. The 18-year-old man was arrested last month in the same case on suspicion of breaking into the homes of Lohan and Patridge, the report says. Prosecutors have filed felony residential burglary charges against four of the suspects.

The AP also reports that earlier this week police displayed an evidence photo depicting approximately $2 million in stolen jewelry that was recovered and returned to Hilton. Her publicist told the news association that Hilton did not get back everything she lost.
