Israeli designers launch global campaign

Tel Aviv, Israel—Nine Israeli jewelry designers have joined forces to promote their work.

The designers have founded HLG Jewelry, which will kick off in the United States at the New York International Gift Fair from Jan. 28-Feb. 1.

"The designers are what it is all about," member Ari Kuperman said in a statement. "Our goal is to find collections by artists whose style is distinct enough to make their work stand out and become recognizable."

The following artists have signed onto the group in addition to Kuperman: Lily Perry, Limor Gefen, More Fusion and Hand-Blown glass, Ofer and Ruth Hotomlanski, Pam Moss, Ruth Anchelovitch and Ruth Finkelstein.

The jewelry designs incorporate gold, sterling silver, gemstones, beads and glass.

Organizers hope that the group can focus on sales and marketing, leaving designers free to focus on creating jewelry.

"By featuring several artists, we give the shop owner the opportunity to choose collections that will most appeal to their customers," HLG Jewelry Sales and Marketing Director Jay Kohn said in a statement.
