PGI takes training show on the road

New York—The Platinum Guild International (PGI) will host its Platinum Technical Road Show beginning late this summer and touring selected cities throughout the country.

The show seminars are intended for bench jewelers of all skill levels to learn new and improved platinum bench techniques.

Each seminar is an all-day event hosted by PGI-USA's Director of Technical Education Jurgen Maerz. The seminars will provide hands-on training in areas such as advanced platinum stone-setting and fabrication using the latest technology.

The 2007 Road Show will host seminars in the following cities: Minneapolis, Aug. 17; Cleveland, Sept. 7; Dallas, Sept. 21; Memphis, Tenn.; Oct. 5; San Diego, Calif.; Oct. 19.
