Frederic Duclos celebrates 25 years

Launches new silver jewelry collections

In honor of its 25th anniversary, jewelry designer Frederic Duclos has created the "Champagne Celebration Cuff."

Composed of sterling silver with a rhodium finish, the cuff features Duclos' signature matte finish on the edge of the cuff and highly polished circles (or "bubbles") to create a contrast.

There are 26 circles in all: 25 for how many years the company has been in business and an extra one "to grow on," according to the company.

"I felt a need to evoke a lighter feel to my modern designs," Duclos said in a media release. "By perforating these circles, it evolved into an airier and revealing piece."

The designer is also introducing its "Galaxy" necklaces, featuring gemstone balls (or "planets") strung on sterling silver necklaces with a rhodium finish.

The "planets" represent Venus (composed of rock crystal), Earth (howlite), Mars (coral), Neptune (lava), Jupiter (Zebra Jasper) and Pluto (onyx).

According to the company, "the woman's face is the sun, and each planet evolves around her."

A two-inch extension is included with each necklace so that it will accommodate lengths of 16 inches and 18 inches. Each necklace closes with an elegant lobster clasp.
