Parade Designs' booth wins Best in Show

Atlanta—Los Angeles-based Parade Designs won Best in Show for the Best Booth Competition at the Atlanta Jewelry Show, held from Aug. 11-13.

The award is selected by a panel of industry judges to recognize a company that excels in creativity, lighting, display skills and overall booth design.

"The purpose of the Best Booth award is to recognize those companies that are able to set themselves apart, both in aesthetic look as well as in utilizing their design to assist in the marketing and sale of their products," said Libby Williams, assistant executive director of the Southern Jewelry Travelers Association, producers and managers of the Atlanta Jewelry Show.

Parade Designs won with a simple white design that highlighted its jewelry with strategically placed spotlights and design cases. To contrast with the white backdrop, the company used colorful advertising panels on the back wall. As the winner, they received a special floor sticker presented on Aug. 12.

The Best Booth Competition is a regular feature of the Atlanta Jewelry Show, and the next one will be held during the March 2008 show.
