Charles and Colvard to mark women's milestone moments

New York—A woman's indelible moments will be made even more unforgettable this fall with O, The Oprah Magazine's "Milestone Moments" contest, which asks female readers to share a significant event that has marked their progress, moved them forward and created who they are today.

Charles and Colvard and J.C. Penney are sponsoring the contest.

The winner will be featured in both the magazine and on Oprah.com, and will also receive a Charles and Colvard platinum pendant set with a round-cut moissanite jewel totaling approximately five carats, surrounded by micro-set diamonds and valued at $10,500.

Charles and Colvard Chief Executive Officer Bob Thomas said the company hopes the contest will create another unforgettable moment for the winner.

"This contest is a way for us to honor extraordinary women who live brilliantly, celebrating her intricacies of spirit, individuality and milestone achievements," Thomas said in a statement.

Applicants can submit entries from Oct. 9 until Jan. 16. For more information on the contest, visit Omagazine.info/moissanite beginning Sept. 30.
