Damiani USA names new pres, CEO

New York—Damiani has appointed Antonio Pavan as president and chief executive officer of Damiani USA. He will be responsible for the North and South American markets.

Pavan was most recently chief operating officer of Skins, a publicly traded footwear company. Prior to that, he oversaw the American operations for Geox USA and Alessi USA, footwear and luxury housewares companies, respectively. His position with the companies was executive vice president.

Pavan has also worked in senior operating positions at several international branded companies, including Bertolli, Cinzano and Lavazza.

"We are very excited that Mr. Pavan has joined our team," Giorgo Grassi Damiani, chairman of Damiani USA and vice president of the Damiani Group, said in a media release. "We believe that his impressive international background and extensive American experience will be a great contribution to the growth and success of our company."
