House of Taylor Jewelry Inc. and PD Financial Corp. expand relationship to establish exclusive consumer jewelry catalogs and Web portals

Under a recently signed letter of intent (LOI), House of Taylor Jewelry Inc. (HOTJ) and PD Financial Corp. will establish a direct marketing entity. Its focus will be consumer jewelry catalogs and Web portals for branded jewelry created by HOTJ.

While PD focuses on the design and development of the catalog and Web sites, HOTJ will oversee design, development, manufacturing and sourcing of all diamonds and jewelry.

The LOI includes a three-year warrant issued by HOTJ that allows PD to purchase shares of its stock at specified costs.

Jack Abramov, president and chief executive officer of HOTJ, believes the catalog and Web sites will facilitate global expansion and drive traffic to the retailers that offer the House of Taylor Jewelry and Kathy Ireland Jewelry brands.

Ron Drori, chief executive officer of PD Financial, added that the two companies plan to launch a branded business-to-consumer loose diamond platform.
