Fashion brands are cashing in on the mobile-phone market by launching stylish handsets, WebIndia123.com reported.

Swiss watchmaker TAG Heuer will be unveiling its phones early next summer. Mobile products from crystal company Swarovski and fashion house Dior are expected to launch next year.

According to WebIndia123.com, experts have predicted that nontraditional brands, including fashion designers, will grab 20 percent of the global mobile-phone market, selling about 200 million handsets a year. Prada's LG phone has already sold 500,000 units since it launched last spring, while D and G's limited-edition gold MotoRAZR V3i phones for Motorola have sold approximately 465,000 units.
