Brittany Murphy made a missus

Actress Brittany Murphy and British writer-director Simon Monjack were married in their Los Angeles home several weeks ago. The couple has been somewhat secretive about their courtship, engagement and marriage, basically avoiding public appearances.

But that changed after an US Weekly reporter spotted the couple at the Kentucky Derby wearing wedding rings. Brittany wore two platinum Neil Lane bands featuring cushion-cut diamonds, one yellow and one white.
