Christofle to expand with three new U.S. boutiques

New York—Fine-silver purveyor Christofle has announced plans to open stores in three U.S. cities in 2009: Boston, Atlanta and Las Vegas.

The new stores will mark the first openings Christofle has had since 2000.

The first of the boutiques will open in January at 296 Boylston St. in Boston. The Atlanta store will open next at the Streets of Buckhead, an exclusive shopping destination, followed finally by the Las Vegas opening toward the end of 2009.

Prior to the new store developments, Christofle initiated a series of renovations for all of its current locations.

The new boutiques and continued renovations speak to Christofle's continued success, as business has seen a year-to-date increase of 21 percent, the company said in a media release.
