Johnson Matthey appoints new sales, marketing exec

New York—Mark Danks will replace B.J. Williams as the sales and marketing manager at
Johnson Matthey New York.
Danks has moved to the United States from Southampton, England, to take the position. For the past six years, he has worked for the industrial side of Johnson Matthey, developing and selling catalyst scavenging products.
In his new role, Danks will oversee the development of client relationships. He holds bachelor's, master's and doctorate degrees in chemistry from Exeter University.
After six years in New York, Williams will return to the United Kingdom to take a more senior position at the company's noble metals business.
Johnson Matthey New York offers platinum and palladium sheet, wire, tube and casting pieces to U.S. jewelers. Its parent company, Johnson Matthey, is a chemical company that focuses on core skills in catalysts, precious metals, fine chemicals and process technology.
