JIC posts holiday vlogs
December 12, 2007
New York—The
Jewelry Information Center (JIC) has recently introduced a series of holiday-related vlogs to its Web site in support of the busiest selling season of the year.
A trio of vlogs (otherwise known as video blogs) will be posted to JIC's Web site,
JIC.org, during December on the topics of watches, holiday gift-giving and dressing for New Year's.
"JIC is providing this service to jewelry retailers to help generate in-store excitement," JIC board chair Myriam Gumuchian of Gumuchian said in a media release. "These free downloadable videos can be a wonderful tool for sales associates to show their customers what's hot and in vogue during this season."
These vlogs are an addition to JIC's ongoing vlog project, which began last summer as a new means of educating consumers about jewelry and jewelry trends. The vlogs allow consumers as well as manufacturers, designers and retailers to post comments and communicate with JIC members and staff.
