Providence Jewelers Club names new board

E. Providence, R.I.--The Providence Jewelers Club (PJC) elected a new director and officers to its board during its annual meeting on Feb. 10.

The new officers, which will each serve a one-year term, include: Vito Torrisi of Lee's Manufacturing Co. Inc., Providence, R.I., as president; Tim Ouhrabka of Providence Chain Co. Inc., Providence, R.I., as vice president; Ed DeCristofaro of L.D.C. Inc., Providence, R.I., as treasurer; and Brenda Gamba of the Jewelers Board of Trade, Warwick, R.I., as secretary.

Re-elected to the board for a period of three years is John Kelley of Kelley Metals, East Providence, R.I.

The new board member is John Antonacci Inc., Advanced Chemical, Warwick, R.I.

The PJC also announced charitable contributions in the amount of $2,500 to the ALS Society and $887 to the Rhode Island Food Bank. Through a special program with the food bank, this year's contribution will be matched by a "group of executives."

Founded in 1952, the PJC creates social events that allow its jewelry members and guests to network with each other in a relaxed, casual atmosphere.
