St. Louis, Mo.--BW Simon International is shoring up its educational offerings to help jewelers run their businesses more efficiently and effectively.

The company has added more seminars led by working master jewelers to its 6th Annual Bench Jewelers Conference taking place next month, April 23-25, at the Millenium Hotel in St. Louis, Mo.

In addition, the conference will feature a variety of seminars led by successful business owners and flourishing bench jewelers, with the sessions designed to show jewelers how they can increase their profitability.

The future of the industry will be the topic up for discussion at the show's general session, and networking activities, including a Thursday night gala reception and a "Friday Night at the Ballpark" event featuring the Cardinals playing the Cubs, are also on the event schedule.

In addition to the tips and strategies that jewelers can learn during the conference, BW Simon's Bench Media division publishes "eBench," a free monthly newsletter for retail jewelry storeowners, shop managers, bench jewelers and anyone interested.

The newsletter contains numerous bench tips from master jewelers such as Charles Lewton-Brian, Jurgen Maerz, Alan Revere and Brad Simon, among others.

And now, those who sign up for the newsletter will also have access to one of Bench Media's most popular books. In celebration of the 10th anniversary of Run Your Shop Without It Running You, a best-seller about jewelry-store management, Bench Media will make the publication available for online reading.

The 154-page book covers take-in procedures, productivity in the shop, tips on setting up a store and how to price repairs, among much more.

To subscribe to eBench and read Run Your Shop Without It Running You, visit EbenchNewsletter.com. For more information about the Bench Jewelers Conference, visit the event's Web site, BenchConference.com.
