Paragon Lake, Unique Settings, De Beers Diamond Jewellers also name new staffers

Beverly Hills, Calif.--Jewelry Brands dba JewelryBrands.net has appointed Lyle M. Rose as president, where he will be responsible for overseeing and expanding the company's special projects.

Rose, who has 36 years of jewelry industry experience, was most recently a consultant in the jewelry field specializing in the areas of corporate structuring, marketing, merchandising, product, profit enhancement techniques and sales.

Previously, he served as chief executive officer of LID Ltd. and was a divisional president of Jacor Products Group/Jabel Inc. for 14 years.

His experience includes acting as a liaison and coordinator between U.S. and Asian jewelry companies and supervising import/export retail and wholesale operations.



Lexington, Mass.--Jewelry technology innovator Paragon Lake has appointed Deborah Besemer as chief executive officer.

Besemer was most recently president and CEO of BrassRing, a leading provider of talent management solutions.

Prior to joining BrassRing, Besemer was president of Systemsoft Corp. and spent more than a decade at Lotus Development, where she managed worldwide field operations with revenues in excess of $1.3 billion and more than 4,000 employees in 46 countries.

Besemer is a former chairperson of the Massachusetts Technology Leadership Council and served on the board of trustees for nine years. She also served on the University of Massachusetts High Tech Executive Council and The New England Small Business Advisory Council for the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston. She is also currently serving on the board of directors at Brightcove, Bullhorn, Double-Take Software and My Perfect Gig, and is a former director of Kubisoft, Inc. and Eprise Corp.

As part of company's growth plans, Matt Lauzon, Paragon Lake's founder and member of the board, will become the company's chief operating officer. He will focus on building a scalable infrastructure to support increasing market demand.



Long Island City N.Y.--Fine-jewelry manufacturer Unique Settings of New York has appointed Richard S. Fields as chief strategic officer, where he will focus on sales, marketing, strategic planning and tactical implementation of Unique Setting's ability to supply independent jewelers with just-in-time, state-of-the-art service.

Fields' experience includes various leadership positions with The Monet Group of New York, Hearts On Fire of Boston and Charles and Colvard of North Carolina.



London--De Beers Diamond Jewellers, the joint retail venture between the De Beers Group and Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton (LVMH), has appointed Rob Cheng at its new marketing director.

Cheng is a former director of international premium products for American Express.
