JewelrySpotter.com to launch consumer videos

Emmy Award-winner Bruining to produce first in series

Paso Robles, Calif.--JewelrySpotter.com, the search engine that specializes in spotting jewelry deals on the Internet, is producing a series of 30-second videos to introduce consumers to its services.

Emmy Award-winning producer Mike Bruining of Morning Sun Productions is producing the first video in the series, which will be broadcast via various social media on the Internet.

According to Jewelry Spotter, Bruining and Morning Sun Productions have done projects for The Discovery Channel, The History Channel and The National Geographic Channel, and have also worked on feature films for MGM and Pixar.

"We are very excited about working with a video producer of Mike's caliber," JewelrySpotter.com Chief Executive Officer Marty Hurwitz said in a media release. "He will bring a very modern and creative sensibility to the Jewelry Spotter video marketing initiative."

The videos are scheduled to start running in four weeks and continue throughout the 2009 holiday shopping season.

Any jewelry e-commerce Web site can post product and images on Jewelry Spotter for free. The posting client is only charged when a consumer clicks through to its e-commerce landing page. The click-through fee is set by the client and can be as low as one cent.

"Jewelry Spotter currently has about 10,000 styles of jewelry and watches listed, but the consumer wants more," Hurwitz said. "We have some gaps in the product listings so we encourage more e-tailers to list their products--especially children's charms, earrings and rings; men's tie tacks/bars and money clips; and teen charms, rings, watches and pendants."
