Stuller Facebook giveaway to drive holiday sales

Lafayette, La.--To generate excitement about its Red Box Diamonds, Stuller Inc. has announced its Red Box Diamond Giveaway through social-networking site Facebook.

According to Stuller Vice President of Diamonds Stanley Zale, consumers are being encouraged to visit the Red Box Diamond Facebook page and "become a fan" of the brand during the month of October. At the end of the month, one consumer name will be drawn at random to win a 1-carat Red Box Diamond. Official contest rules are available at Facebook.com/Pages/Red-Box-Diamonds/120457468965, under the "Discussions" tab.

"This giveaway is designed to help our Red Box Diamond retailers," Zale said in a media release. "Our goal is to generate excitement among consumers about Red Box Diamonds, resulting in increased business for our Red Box Diamond retailers."

In conjunction with the release of its Live Diamond Try-On iPhone application to consumers, the Diamond Trading Co. sightholder hopes to drive bridal jewelry shoppers to their local, independent Red Box Diamond retailers.

"To further supplement our diamond campaign, we're promoting Live Diamond Try-On and Red Box Diamonds with monthly advertisements on The Knot, a popular bridal planning Web site, and Weddingbook on Facebook," Zale said.
