JA New York Summer offers bevy of new features

New York--JA New York is gearing up for its annual JA New York Summer Show, which will return once again to Manhattan's Jacob K. Javits Convention Center for a four-day format.

The July 26-29 show will offer buying opportunities and industry-driven events designed to help generate business and networking opportunities, as well as provide new interactive forums to help re-energize the industry, organizers said in a media release.

For the Summer Show, JA New York and a team of industry professionals have come up with a full roster of new and innovative show features, including: the JA Designer Lab, a space given to 16 designers in which they can showcase new designs and meet with retailers and press in a collaborative environment; the Designer Retailer Forum, an interactive forum featuring a select group of leading retailers who have made a success out of selling fine designer jewelry; the Designer Jewelry Business Forum, an interactive seminar that provides a behind-the-scenes tour of the JA Designer Showcase; Industry Row, featuring the latest tools and technology in jewelry manufacturing, bench services and equipment; the "Concours d'Elegance" Pavilion of Watches, featuring timepieces from both well-known and up-and-coming brands; plus daily themed networking opportunities, promotional opportunities and discounts, offering everything from massages by Oasis Day Spa to deals on New York City concerts and events.

In addition to the new offerings, JA New York will host returning show favorites, including the Couture Club and Pavilion, American Gem Trade Association Pavilion, New Designer Gallery, New Designer of the Year Award, Inner Circle, Designer Showcase, International Pavilions, Gift Gallery, New Product Gallery, JA educational programs, America's Best Jewelers and the Designer Award press tours with Cindy Edelstein.
