Midwest Jewelers show ends on 'solid' note

Madison, Wis.--Organizers of the Midwest Jewelers Trade Show, which wrapped up at the Monona Terrace Convention Center here last month, have described the March 13-15 event as having been a very "solid" show.

In a media release, organizers said 104 exhibitors showcased their products, with more than 500 retail buyers attending the three-day show.

The event kicked off on Friday, March 13, with a welcome reception, and educational seminars were held throughout the show.

Organizers said that the venue of the show proved itself to be an excellent facility in that the event was large enough so that retail jewelers could find what they were looking for in a reasonable amount of time, yet small enough so that exhibitors remained busy.

For 2010, the Midwest Jewelers Trade Show will be held once again at the Monona Terrace Convention Center, from March 5-7.

Organizers described the show as a comfortable, secure and affordable regional event, with an inside 10 foot-by-10 foot booth costing about $1,175, and hotels in the area running from $89 to $150 per night.
