Las Vegas--M.J. Christensen has announced plans to re-open its Galleria Mall location under a new name and offer product lines better directed toward the regional shopping center's current clientele.

The Nevada-based fine-jeweler, which had announced on April 29 plans to close its Galleria Mall location in Henderson, Nev., said in a media release that the conversion to the new LaReverie concept at the Galleria Mall will begin immediately following the completion of a special eight-week store closing and consolidation sale now underway at all four of the retailer's metro Las Vegas locations.

"LaReverie will bring together exciting international designer brands focusing on price points primarily between $300 and $2,500, and have strong self-purchase appeal for the fashion-conscious woman," M.J. Christensen President and Chief Executive Officer Cliff Miller said in the release.

The store is expected to open around July 2009.

According to M.J. Christensen, the jeweler plans to continue operating its freestanding stores at Boca Park and Montecito Marketplace, both in Las Vegas, and at Eastern and Coronado in Henderson.

The consolidation sale at all four locations is offering discounts of up to 70 percent off on thousands of items, the release states, including fine watches and an array of bridal and fashion pieces. The inventory is valued at more than $10 million at retail, with price points ranging from $25 to $250,000.

For further information on the sale, contact the M.J. Christensen corporate office at (702) 732-0138 or visit the store's Web site, MJChristensen.com.
