Cash for Gold USA now offering cash for diamonds

July 20, 2009
CashforDiamondsUSA.com was launched to satisfy growing consumer demand to trade in their diamonds for money.

Sharon, Mass.--Cash for Gold USA has launched Cash for Diamonds USA in response to growing demand from consumers looking to turn their diamonds into cash.

According to a news release from the Sharon, Mass.-based company, the new site, CashforDiamondsUSA.com, allows consumers to trade in their loose diamonds and diamond jewelry for cash, just as the company's Cash for Gold USA Web site allows consumers to cash in on the metal.

Norman Schneider, president of Cash for Gold USA, said in the release that the company opted to launch the diamond site because of the steadily increasing number of inquiries from consumers facing financial pressure brought on by the recession.

"We're truly excited about our new presence as an online diamond buyer," he said in the release.

The new site features detailed information on the Four C's and offers customers free FedEx shipping that is pre-insured up to $1,000, according to the release.

The site will purchase diamonds of any shape, color, cut, clarity or carat size, either loose or set in a piece of jewelry.

Cash for Diamonds USA compensates for any gold, platinum or silver included in the jewelry. Value is determined using the same assay standards used on the company's cash for gold and silver Web sites, according to the release.

Schneider said Cash for Diamonds USA aims to beat payouts offered by other buyers.

"As we do with both our gold and silver sites, we fully intend to pay sellers more for their diamonds than other buyers," he said in the release. "We guarantee to beat any competitor's price by 10 percent."

In addition, Cash for Diamonds USA offers a Tell A Friend program, which allows consumers to make money by referring others to the site.
