Barney's on the Strip--oh, so swanky

A new 80,000-square-foot Barney's recently opened in the new Palazzo Las Vegas hotel and casino, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Signs pointing to the "intimate and eccentric" store are visible from the casino room floor and a gondola-filled Grande Canal extends to its door, proving that Barney's is the star attraction of the Shoppes at the Palazzo. It actually anchors the collection of luxury stores, which include Tory Burch, Diane Von Furstenberg and Chloe, just to name a few.

Barney's first floor has "miles of jewelry cases" filled with pieces from designers such as Mallary Marks, Jennifer Meyer, Olivia Collings and Abraxas Rex.

While wearing a gold-nugget ring that matches the Vegas ambiance, Simon Doonan—Barney's creative director—said they expect a lot of jewelry buyers at the location.
