Birks and Mayors to sell H. Stern

Tamarac, Fla.—Birks and Mayors customers can now purchase H. Stern jewelry at many of the retail chain's stores.

Birks and Mayors will offer the designer pieces at four Mayors stores throughout Florida and at six Birks stores throughout Canada.

The partnership makes Mayors one of only three retailers in Florida to carry the collection, and Birks the exclusive retailer to carry it in Canada. The retailer will offer H. Stern's signature "Stars" collection, as well as other pieces inspired by nature and its elements: fire, water and earth.

Founded in 1945 by German-born Han Stern, the H. Stern brand began with a boutique in Rio de Janiero, Brazil. Nowadays, the brand sells in 26 countries through wholly owned boutiques and a network of retail partners.

H. Stern has also garnered a celebrity following in recent years, with fans including Angelina Jolie, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Sharon Stone. At the 2007 Academy Awards, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Jada Pinkett Smith and Emily Blunt all wore H. Stern jewels with their gowns.
