Atlanta—Fire and Flash, the International Jewelry Showcase at AmericasMart Atlanta, will be held from Oct. 13-16.

Starting in October, the biannual showcase will run in conjunction with the Atlanta apparel market, providing more buying opportunities for exhibitors and new resources for retailers. Also in October, Fire and Flash will expand to include additional product and an exclusive temporary booth section on the fifth floor, directly beneath the permanent fine-jewelry showrooms on the sixth floor. Several industry leaders have secured space in the temporary area, including GND, Jewelry Land, Jim World Imports and SYK Jewelry.

The temporary booths and more than 70 permanent showrooms span 90,000 square feet, and offer gold, silver, diamonds, precious stones, high-end fashion jewelry, costume jewelry and other designer pieces.

Buyers will benefit from one-stop shopping with suppliers, jewelry display companies and repair shops located in Building 3. They will also have access to all apparel market offerings and events during the show, including the "World of Coke" offsite party and an educational wedding event, "An Engaging Affair," showcasing contemporary trends in everything related to special and social occasions. Highlights consist of tabletop accessories and wedding and engagement rings.

As an added value, AmericasMart's permanent fine-jewelry showrooms are open weekdays and during all apparel and gift markets throughout the year. In addition, the city transit system, MARTA, connects to the building and more than 8,000 hotel rooms within walking distance.

For more information on AmericasMart and its annual markets, call (800) ATL-MART or visit its Web site, Americasmart.com.
