JBT holds annual elections

Warwick, R.I.—The Jewelers Board of Trade (JBT) announced its newly elected officers and board of directors during the company's annual meeting on Feb. 14.

New directors to the board include Pinny Rubin, Leslie's Jewelry Mfg. Corp., Greenwich, Conn., and Rajeev V. Sheth, Tara Ultimo Pvt. Ltd., Mumbai, India.

In addition, the board elected the following officers and directors to serve a one-year term: F. Daniel Pharr, Hoover and Strong, Richmond, Va., as chairman; Harvey W. O'Conor, Findings, Keene, N.H., as first vice chairman; Richard Greenwood, A. F. Greenwood Co., New York, as second vice chairman; Dione D. Kenyon as president; Brenda M. Pimentel as secretary; and Alisa D. Dumond as treasurer.

Re-elected to the board for a period of two years are: Michael J. Barnacle, Leach and Garner Co., N. Attleboro, Mass.; Phyllis Bergman, Mercury Ring Corp., Englewood, N.J.; Nancy Brewer, B.A. Ballou and Co., E. Providence, R.I.; Brian D. Fleming, Carla Corp., E. Providence, R.I.; Michael L. Kaplan, Rocket Jewelry Box, Bronx, N.Y.; Darin L. Kath, Jewelers Mutual Insurance Co., Neenah, Wis.; Anna Martin, ABN Amro Bank, New York; Harvey W. O'Conor, Findings Inc., Keene, N.H.; Avi Raz, A and Z Pearls, Los Angeles; and Richard H. Smith, Stern-Leach Co., Attleboro, Mass.

Elected to the advisory board for a period of two years is: Howard M. Kilguss, Providence, R.I.

Established in 1884, the JBT provides credit information and collection services to the jewelry industry and related sectors.
