Leitzel's Jewelry named Gold Lance 'Outstanding Retailer'

Myerstown, Pa.—Gold Lance Class Rings of Minneapolis has named Leitzel's Jewelry of Myerstown, Pa., as "Outstanding Retailer" for 2006.

The retailer was chosen because it has continuously exceeded expectations and put into effect outstanding business practices within its community. Leitzel's was also recognized as a top performer in class-ring sales and service, according to Gold Lance Class Rings Sales Manager Kevin Karaba.

Leitzel's Jewelry is a family-owned business that has been in operation since 1949. The current owner, Ceylon Leitzel, represents the family's second generation, and with Ceylon's daughter Allison joining the staff in 2003, a third generation will carry on the family tradition.

The Gold Lance award follows another prestigious award earned by Leitzel Jewelry. The Pennsylvania Jewelers Association named the retailer "Jeweler of the Year, 2006," the third time Leitzel Jewelry has won this honor since 2000.
