Miami, Fla.—East Coast Jewelry's "Gems of Time Invitational" event to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation kicked off at the Setai Hotel in South Beach, Fla., recently, with Vacheron Constantin timepieces and Venue Magazine as sponsors.

The event was hosted and underwritten by father and son Michael and Bobby Yampolsky, founders and owners of East Coast Jewelry.

More than 300 invited guests enjoyed a day of luxury, including a golf tournament, beauty treatments, fashion shows and displays of gems and timepieces at La Gorce Country Club. Some of the participating designers included Corum, de Grisogono, Ebel, Girard Perregaux, Jacob and Co., Maurice LaCroix, U-BOAT, Vacheron Constantin and Zenith.

Former Miami Dolphins football superstar Louis Oliver served as master of ceremonies.

The all-day affair began with a golf tournament that included celebrity golf players Alexis Thompson, Brett Quickley and Nicholas Thompson.

A midday luncheon hosted by W magazine featured the designs of Teso Furs, making their debut in South Florida, as well as pieces by de Grisogono. The Medici Institute sponsored seminars and complimentary beauty and skin treatments.

The afternoon featured a "Bubble Hour" reception hosted by Miami Modern Luxury magazine and Veuve Clicquot champagne. Female models showcased Leo Pizzo diamonds and Vicky Moreinis swimwear, while male models paraded around in the Nautica Spring Collection, accessorized with U-BOAT timepieces.

The evening topped off with a "19th Hole" award dinner reception. The grand winners of the golf tournament were awarded a trip to The Cliffs Communities on a private jet provided by Talon Air.

During the reception, a check was presented to Norman Wedderburn, chief executive officer of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Southern Florida.

East Coast Jewelry currently has three Florida locations, including Worth Avenue in Palm Beach, Boca Raton and Collins Avenue in Sunny Isles Beach.
