New York--Anticipation for the Couture 2009 show in Las Vegas continues to grow, with more than 3,000 qualified retailers already registered to attend, and more than 200 of the industry's most pre-eminent brands and designers signed on.

The show will take place from May 28 to June 2 at the five-star Wynn Las Vegas, and organizers said in a media release that this year's show promises attending retailers and exhibitors the most exclusive and intimate destination for high-end jewelry and timepiece designs in the United States, as well as progressive new programs and opportunities.

Cornerstone and VIP retailers, representing the best of the retail jewelry industry, will be in attendance along with thousands of retailers whose collections distinguish them as couture jewelers.

In 2009, Couture will host its largest collection of international designers, organizers said, with more than 25 new brands having been added to complement the design staples of the Couture collections floor. Staples of the show include brands such as Buccellati, Charriol, Damiani, David Yurman, De Grisogono, H. Stern, Hearts On Fire, Jaeger Le-Coultre, John Hardy, Judith Ripka, Kwiat, Mikimoto, Roberto Coin, Scott Kay and many more.

In addition to buying opportunities, the 2009 event schedule will also feature networking receptions, peer-to-peer discussions, an enhanced Couture Design Awards program and a unique educational program in which top retailers designated by National Jeweler Network as "America's Best Jewelers" will share best marketing and retail practices with show attendees.
