Paramus, N.J.--Movado Group has announced two new presidents for its Ebel brand: Loek Oprinsen has been named president and commercial director, and Marc Michel-Amadry has been named president and creative director.

The pair replaces Thomas van der Kallen, who has decided to leave the company, according to a press release issued on Tuesday.

Michel-Amadry will continue to oversee Ebel's marketing, product development and public relations. He and Oprinsen will report directly to Movado Group Chief Executive Officer Efraim Grinberg.

"Loek and Marc have incredible knowledge and experience with global luxury brands," Grinberg said in the release. "Both have held key roles within the organization which have served to define the success of the Ebel brand. I am extremely confident that Loek and Marc, along with the strong team we have in place under their leadership, will continue to elevate the Ebel brand and continue its success in the luxury watch market."

He also thanked der Kallen for his "contribution to the development of the Ebel brand over the past four years."

Oprinsen joined Movado Group in 2005 as managing director of Ebel Germany. He was previously with luxury jewelry and watch brand Richemont for 10 years.

Michel-Amadry joined Ebel in 2003 as the international marketing director and was subsequently promoted to vice president of marketing in 2006. Before joining Ebel, he held various positions with luxury goods giant Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton (LVMH).
