Tourneau to offer watch-protection plan

Atlanta—Assurant Solutions, a global provider of extended service contracts, has announced it will provide an enhanced watch-protection plan to Tourneau, the world's largest watch store.

Assurant Solutions affiliates will market, administer and underwrite the plans, and Tourneau will provide repair service through its U.S. network of 44 Tourneau, Watch Gear and Tourneau Outlet stores.

According to Keith Meier, senior vice president and general manager of the Assurant Solutions extended service business, the company launched the program along with Strategic Performance Management, a sales strategy customized for Tourneau.

"Tourneau is a brand with over 100 years of history and experience, and consumers rely on us to provide them with the best services available, which include our warranty coverage plans," Tourneau Vice President of Customer Service Andy Arluck said in a media release. "Assurant sets a new standard of professionalism and presentation exhibited through Strategic Performance Management. With this standard, Tourneau is now able to offer its consumers
unprecedented watch-protection coverage programs that will enable us to achieve continued success and position us for further growth."
