Neuchatel, Switzerland—Montres Corum Sarl has announced that President Michael Wunderman will replace Corum USA President Stacie Orloff to preside over the distribution of the brand in North America.

Wunderman, who has resided in Switzerland for the last seven years, is returning to California to take up his new post.

"The experience of living in Switzerland and rebuilding Corum to the successful brand that it is today has been challenging and rewarding for me," Wunderman said in a media release. "The direction in which the brand is now moving is clearly defined for the future. Our operational structure is strong, and I no longer need to be involved in the day-to-day of the company. My focus will be to continue to build on the brand success of North America, and I am excited to be reunited with my family after so many years abroad."

Wunderman will continue to work on the Creation Committee of Corum in Switzerland and will remain on the company's executive board as vice chairman alongside his father, Severin Wunderman, chairman of Montres Corum Sarl and founder of Gucci timepieces.

Immediate changes to the structure of Corum USA also include the promotion of Wunderman's cousin Johnny Wizman to vice president of sales, and Scott Nichols' promotion from chief financial officer of Corum's global operations to vice president of operations at Corum USA.

Antonio Calce, general manager of Montres Corum Sarl, will continue to oversee the operations in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland.
