Excel Time opens new watch-repair facility

Coral Gables, Fla.—Watch-repair and after-sales service provider Excel Time Service has opened a state-of-the-art watch-repair facility in Coral Gables, Fla. The company offers a wide range of watch repair and restoration services, with clients including everyone from individual watch owners to premier local and national watch retailers, to manufacturers such as Baume and Mercier, Hublot and Rolex, among others. Excel Time Service's technical facilities will provide basic and complete overhaul service for mechanical as well as quartz movements. Services include refurbishing and refinishing, as well as custom engraving. All work is done on premises, fully guaranteed and only genuine parts are used, the company said in a media release. Excel's master watchmaker and director of technical operations, Federico Rodriquez, is Rolex-trained and has been specializing in the repair and service of mechanical movements for more than 45 years. Including Rodriguez, the staff counts four skilled watchmakers, a dedicated polisher and client advisors who speak multiple languages.
